Our Summer Kickstart is BACK for 2025 and registrations are now OPEN! We are thrilled to launch more training opportunities than ever before over the summer months. Our Summer Kickstarter season is a great way to start the new year working on core skills, bringing football fitness up to scratch and making some new friends. Please have a read through the below details and session times before registering. Training format: All training sessions are conducted by Football Australia licenced Easts FC coaches following a curriculum set out by our Technical Director and the FA. Each coach will have a group of max 12 players for U6-U7 and 10 players for U8-U18. These sessions will blend personal and team skills. There are NO SET TEAMS but if you register to the same training session as a friend, you can ask to be together on the day. Games format: 4v4 for all ALL groups. Fast paced 'street-style' football with no set teams. 1x Easts FC coach per field will divide you into groups based on age, ability and enthusiasm. If you are new to the club, we will use the first couple weeks to gauge your level. Games last the whole hour with breaks.

Our NetSetGo Mini Magpies program is the perfect place to start for all new netballers aged 5-7 This beginner program gives kids the opportunity to be introduced to netball, without the pressure of regular competition games. We focus on improving skills whilst having fun in a safe and inclusive environment. The program starts in term 2 and will be held on Tuesdays, 5pm - 6pm. Registration is $140 and includes a starter pack from Netball Australia.

Registrations are now open for our 2025 Winter Competition What are the ages? We have 3 Junior age groups that participate in netball at Greenlees: 1. NetSetGo! This program is for children aged between 5 and 7 years old. It is a nationally developed program to introduce kids to netball. There are no competition games and the focus is on developing skills, making friends and having fun. It is run on a Tuesday night. 2. Modified Modified players are aged 8-9 years old and take part in a modified program. Games take place on grass courts and some of the rules are changed to make it easier for the players to take part and learn the game. There is no scoring. Training is Tuesday nights and games are Saturday mornings. 3. Juniors, Cadets and Seniors Juniors (10 - 15 years) play competition games each week. There are multiple divisions in each age group to ensure team plays in an appropriate grade. Training is Tuesday nights and games are Saturdays When do you play? Games are held on Saturdays at Cintra Park Netball Courts, as part of the Inner West Association competition. Our Modified and Junior teams play in one of the morning time slots, which are 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am & 11:30am. Teams play the same time slot throughout the season. This year, games start on Saturday, 5th April. We have breaks for the long weekend and school holidays. Game times will not be made available by the Association until after teams have been submitted and grading completed, so unfortunately we are unable to be more specific about playing times. The camps are a fun and exciting week with specialised singing, dancing and acting tutors working with the kids to perform, build confidence and most importantly have fun. Kids Up Front run after school drama classes for children throughout the North Shore, Ryde, Inner West and Hills District in Sydney. Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. For many of our students this is the highlight of their year as they shine on stage in front of a live audience. Working together in drama means listening to each other and accepting and extending each others ideas thus helping children develop good social skills and confidence in presenting their own ideas. Developing confidence, creativity and communication skills are very important life skills whatever path in life they choose to take.
