Natyatharu School of Dance, based in Aintree, is excited to announce its upcoming Bharathanatyam concert, "NÁTYÁRPANAM". The performance will showcase Bharathanatyam repertoire items presented by Natyatharu's talented students. Additionally Christina Prakanthan will grace the stage with some of her favorite pieces. Come and share the love of music with your child with a one-on-one session. I sing and play guitar and there's moving to music and fun. It's tailored to the age and needs of your child and it's paced so that you and your child get the maximum benefit. It's excellent for children who may be overwhelmed in a group setting, but also gets them ready for when they want or need to be in a group setting later on. There's puppets and props and singing and dancing and it's top fun!

Wednesdays and Thursdays in Parkdale at 10am. I sing and play guitar, so the music is all live. There's singing and playing percussion instruments and moving to music. There are colourful puppets and props. It's really interactive and fun. Children are introduced to tempo and dynamics, beat and rhythm, high and low, timbre and loads more. There are opportunities for children to perform in front of their peers, which is great for building confidence, children learn to work both as a team and solo, take turns, listening skills are developed and it’s a great fun time with music. Many children who do the Little Feet Music program have the confidence to learn a musical instrument. Research shows learning music uses more parts of the brain than any other activity and that children who learn music in their formative years develop better reading and communication skills, hand-eye coordination and endless other skills. Enrol for the term and you get a Little Feet Music song/colouring book with all of the songs we do during the term.

Join us for some messy fun with your little one. We squish and splash, conduct experiments, learn through play, develop language and motor skills, and most importantly, have fun! Sessions are aimed at children aged 6m* to 5yrs (inclusive), so even those at preschool can come along too. Head to our booking site to book your place! Throughout the year SHAKE also gets involved with various school events like the New Farm State School Fete and Brisbane Central State School Activity Day. This gives students the opportunity to share their love for dance with friends and classmates as well as the wider community.

The North Coastal Childrens Community Choir rehearsals start Wednesday 12 Feb 2025 at Quinns Mindarie community centre, 2 Quinns road, Mindarie. Rehearsals are every Wednesday:- Seniors age 9yrs to 16 yrs 3.15 till 4.15 Juniors age 5yrs to 8yrs 4.30 till 5.15 No auditions required has Vocal training is given. Membership 15.00 a year. Weekly contribution 3.00. The choir for boys and girls is a non profit association supported by, city of Wanneroo, Lotterywest and local businesses.

Kids Up Front run after school drama classes for children throughout the North Shore, Ryde, Inner West and Hills District in Sydney. Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. For many of our students this is the highlight of their year as they shine on stage in front of a live audience. Working together in drama means listening to each other and accepting and extending each others ideas thus helping children develop good social skills and confidence in presenting their own ideas. Developing confidence, creativity and communication skills are very important life skills whatever path in life they choose to take. Music is so much more than just playing an instrument. The music skills of listening, understanding, creating and enjoying music play a key role in a child’s development and should be experienced by all children. Using action songs, body percussion, story-telling and guided listening activities, our teacher will engage your child in a musical world that can lead to a life enriched by music. Term 1 starts Saturday 15th February or Wednesday 19th February, and will run for 8 weeks. Open to students aged 3-10, the Kids at the Con classes serve as a fantastic introduction to music class where students are engaged and are free to explore their musical creativity in a welcoming and non-competitive environment. No prior experience necessary!
