The North Coastal Childrens Community Choir rehearsals start Wednesday 12 Feb 2025 at Quinns Mindarie community centre, 2 Quinns road, Mindarie. Rehearsals are every Wednesday:- Seniors age 9yrs to 16 yrs 3.15 till 4.15 Juniors age 5yrs to 8yrs 4.30 till 5.15 No auditions required has Vocal training is given. Membership 15.00 a year. Weekly contribution 3.00. The choir for boys and girls is a non profit association supported by, city of Wanneroo, Lotterywest and local businesses.

Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. Music is so much more than just playing an instrument. The music skills of listening, understanding, creating and enjoying music play a key role in a child’s development and should be experienced by all children. Using action songs, body percussion, story-telling and guided listening activities, our teacher will engage your child in a musical world that can lead to a life enriched by music. Term 1 starts Saturday 15th February or Wednesday 19th February, and will run for 8 weeks. Open to students aged 3-10, the Kids at the Con classes serve as a fantastic introduction to music class where students are engaged and are free to explore their musical creativity in a welcoming and non-competitive environment. No prior experience necessary!

Bop till you Drop have been running school holiday workshops in various locations around Australia for the past 16 years, with a focus on developing children's self confidence through singing, dancing and acting in a 2-day intensive Performing Arts Workshop. This unique program is now being offered in Geelong West. The workshop is suitable for boys and girls aged 5 - 12 years with any or no previous training who have an interest in performing or would like to gain some self-confidence. Our aim is to provide a fun, but educational experience for children. We encourage them to be part of the creative process, allowing them to feel important and proud of who they are. They will enjoy rotating classes over the 2 day program which are run by professional entertainers, to improve their singing, dancing and acting skills. We also include additional classes such as science, arts and craft, fun with food, team challenges and self-motivation. They will perform a mini-concert on the second day to family and friends to showcase their new found talents. Children can be grouped with siblings and friends if they like.
