We run weekly classes during NSW School Terms! Our Term Classes aim to complement school learning by tap into the creativity of our learners and equipping them with confidence building activities for one hour a week. Weekly lessons are planned with activities of drama, debate, creative writing and public speak along with memorable end of term presentation; enjoyed by parents and students alike! Online-Interactive Classes Yes you can join us from the comfort of your own home! Online classes are live, interactive and follow the exact same program structure as our In-Person Classes ! In-Person Classes Our in-person after-school and weekend classes combine a multitude of fun activities to improve their communication skills. Classes are held in a variety of locations across Sydney and we are constantly adding new classes to keep up with demand. Individual Classes If you would like to book a 1-on-1 coaching session for your child, please get in touch with us. HOLIDAY ART & CRAFT CLASSES for Primary school attending children 5.5 - 12 YEARS We offer a diverse range of art lessons during school holidays: drawing, painting, printmaking & sculpture.​ All primary school attending children are eligible for holiday classes. Preschoolers are NOT accepted into our holiday program. Programs are uploaded to the START ART SCHOOL website 4 weeks prior to school holidays. CLASS SIZES A maximum of 12 children per art class AGE Children must be attending Primary school and be at least 5.5 years old to attend classes. HOLIDAY CLASSES 2024 Winter 8 July - 19 July Spring 30 September - 11 October Summer 16 December - 21 December ​ TIMES AM CLASS: 9.30am-12.30pm & PM CLASS: 1.30pm-4.30pm Lunchtime supervision is provided for children staying a full day at no additional charge. Our programs are designed to inspire and ignite a love for innovations through hands-on experimentation and exploration. Our workshop theme July 2024 program is SUPER POWERS. Kids will get to do many fun and engaging learning activities including building wind turbines, learning about renewable energy sources such as solar power, build electric circuits involving solar panels and coding and animating games related to renewable energy. Each workshop is carefully designed to suit the age group to make them fun and interactive. The activities range from science, robotics, electronics, mechanics to coding. Through a series of hands-on challenges, children get to experiment, tinker, and problem-solve, fostering their curiosity and creativity. Our specialised School Holiday 4-in-1 Communication Workshops are provided as (In-Person 2 day) / (Online as 5 day) as a full immersive experience for the kids to tap into their creativity, build impromptu speaking skills amongst peers and feel inspired and charged amongst some lively debates! We combine public speaking, creative writing, debating and drama activities in a two- day workshop to increase exposure to students communication skills in different genres; demonstrating to them how each genre of communication enhances the next to ultimately help them unleash their potential and express themselves with confidence. Sydney City Race The Sydney City Race is a long distance running and navigation race within the Sydney city and harbourside areas. The Premier/Long race is 15km, with a first place men's and women's prize of $1,000. Shorter distances are also available. Race date is Sunday 13th October 2024 There is also a warm up event at Pyrmont on Saturday 12th October 2024.

Venue: Turramurra & Macquarie University. Organised by Bold Horizons Event Organiser All students are invited to enter this peak NSW event for school-aged students. There is no minimum standard and no qualification required. Students can choose from an A (moderate to hard) or B (easy) course. All finishers in each age group at Regional Championships are encouraged to attend and compete at NSW Schools Championships.

The Anaiwan and Kamilaroi people are the traditional owners of the country that encompasses current day Armidale and Uralla, and the local Indigenous population is still more than double that of the Australian average. The Anaiwan people settled the New England Ranges around Uralla and Armidale whilst the Kamilaroi headed west to the Inverell region. Welcome to the land of The Granite Belt which runs along the Great Dividing Range crossing state borders. The Granite belt has played host to many State and National Championship events. This year is no exception as competitors will be treated to 3 Championship races on a brand new area with magical granite and fast, friendly vegetation. With the 7 events of this Championship carnival based in and around Armidale and Uralla, there is a large range of tourist activities as well as cultural activities to experience in the rest days.
