At The Farm Byron Bay we encourage kids to enjoy and learn from the surroundings of a real working farm. Farm Kids inspires and educates children through our programs about where food comes from and introduces them to concepts like paddock rotation for the animals, the importance of pollination, organic farming, crops, healthy soil, composting and other ethical farming practices. Children can meet our animals and watch them in their natural surroundings and be amongst our chickens whilst enjoying some of the best things in life, sunshine and fresh air. December January School Holiday Program At the beginning of each workshop we take the children on an educational and fun tour of The Farm. We educate them about our pigs, bees, chickens, flower crops, herb garden, orchard and veggie crops. The children get up close and personal with our pet chickens, pick and taste veggies, edible flowers and herbs. After the tour we head back to the farmhouse where each day has a different point of discussion, cooking, gardening and craft focus. The Easts FC Spring Cup Season is returning in 2024 for existing and new members for a 12 week season and we can't wait to see you there! Our traditional Spring Cup Season home of Moore Park Synthetic Field will be closed for the entirety of Term 4. We have been hard at work with the local councils to find a suitable replacement for training and games. We are thrilled to be able to offer the below season. To join our mailing list, please fill out this form (note: this is not a registration). If you have played with is within the last year, you are already on it! Season dates: w/c 9th September to Sunday 15th December. No training or games from 30th September to 13th October during school holidays. Coaching set up training: Football Australia licenced paid coaches will run the training session following a curiculum set out by our Technical Director and Football Australia. Coaching set up games: There are no set coaches for games, parent managers are asked to help run weekend games. A parent coaching tutorial will be set up at the start of the season. We will however provide a coach for each field to help assist any parents. Friend requests: We will be prioritising grading for an even and inclusive playing experience. Some friend requests will be accepted (when training on the same day) - you will be sent a form closer to team creation. Uniform: An Easts FC uniform is mandatory for all games. Teams will wear both the blue and white jerseys throughout the season. Uniforms are NOT included in registration fees. External teams: if you would like to enrol as an external team or are an external club please contact us.

ur weekly programs are your child’s starting point with Basketball Star Academy. Fun, skill based training with experienced coaches for all those looking to further develop their basketball skills. Suitable for beginners right through to more experienced players and all ages from 5-16. Our experienced coaches will guide your child through essential basketball techniques, including areas such as shooting, dribbling, defense, teamwork, plus more. Happily Heffalump art classes will continue next year with theory and colour projects each week. We will practice special effects, perspective, anatomy and animation techniques. The colour projects will be playing with European water colour, Ink stone and ink stick on bamboo papers, oil and chalk pastels. Acrylic, goauche paint for cartoons. A basic materials list is required, children work with acrylic paints on canvas. My teaching style has aided me many students of all ages, (from 5 yo to adult) many to win awards, further arts study and/or to become selling artists. This program has been developed to delve deeper into learning about and managing emotions effectively. The girls will gain knowledge around all of the different emotions they feel and why these emotions occur. We will learn how to understand our emotions through many different methods including listening to our physiology, they will be taught the benefits of the 'name it to tame it' theory, we will discuss our amazing brain and what it means to 'flip our lid' and how to prevent that from happening. The girls will also learn multiple calming strategies to assist in moments of high emotion. This program will be jam packed of information and tools for their toolbox. Your daughter's emotional literacy and emotional regulation skills will improve significantly! This is a small group program and will be limited to eight girls. For girls in Year 3-6.
