Community School Holiday Activities Events for Kids

Our Summer Kickstart is BACK for 2025 and registrations are now OPEN! We are thrilled to launch more training opportunities than ever before over the summer months. Our Summer Kickstarter season is a great way to start the new year working on core skills, bringing football fitness up to scratch and making some new friends. Please have a read through the below details and session times before registering. Training format: All training sessions are conducted by Football Australia licenced Easts FC coaches following a curriculum set out by our Technical Director and the FA. Each coach will have a group of max 12 players for U6-U7 and 10 players for U8-U18. These sessions will blend personal and team skills. There are NO SET TEAMS but if you register to the same training session as a friend, you can ask to be together on the day. Games format: 4v4 for all ALL groups. Fast paced 'street-style' football with no set teams. 1x Easts FC coach per field will divide you into groups based on age, ability and enthusiasm. If you are new to the club, we will use the first couple weeks to gauge your level. Games last the whole hour with breaks.

Looking to join a Junior Futsal Team for 2025 We are on the lookout for players for a Thursday or Friday comp Age group 9 to 12 year olds. Locations Springvale Thursdays or Box Hill Fridays.

ur weekly programs are your child’s starting point with Basketball Star Academy. Fun, skill based training with experienced coaches for all those looking to further develop their basketball skills. Suitable for beginners right through to more experienced players and all ages from 5-16. Our experienced coaches will guide your child through essential basketball techniques, including areas such as shooting, dribbling, defense, teamwork, plus more. Our weekly programs are 60 minutes in duration We run many days at venues from Mernda to eltham and surrounding suburbs

Bookings are now open for Term 1 tennis coaching commencing from 3/2/25. Red Hot Tennis offers small group classes for children to ensure individual attention. Our program adopts a game-sense approach where the game becomes the heart of each practice session. Kids Up Front are experts in running Drama Classes and Performing Arts Holiday Camps having done so for over 20 years in Australia and New Zealand. We offer fun and dynamic drama programs for children to develop confidence, performance skills, communication and creativity as well as having a lot of fun! Register via our website for a Free Trial Drama Class, or add your child to the waiting list! Kids Up Front run after school drama classes for children throughout the North Shore, Ryde, Inner West and Hills District in Sydney. Our after school drama lessons for junior students (Kindy to Year 2) participate in a themed lesson performed for each other each week. Our senior students (Year 3 +) develop performance skills in the first half of the year through improvisation drama games and scene work. In the second half of the year they collaborate with their teacher on a group devised piece to be performed at a real theatre. For many of our students this is the highlight of their year as they shine on stage in front of a live audience. Working together in drama means listening to each other and accepting and extending each others ideas thus helping children develop good social skills and confidence in presenting their own ideas. Developing confidence, creativity and communication skills are very important life skills whatever path in life they choose to take.
