TERM ART LESSONS for 6 - 12 year olds Fun and informative art classes that stretch the imagination, with the aim to teach new art skills and share a passion for creativity. Children will receive individual attention & creative guidance in developing and expressing their artistic self-confidence, in classes that art fun and process driven. Each term introduces a range of new and exciting art activities. Early exposure to visual art promotes activity and development in the brain. Art lessons greatly encourage and nurture valuable life skills through fun, creative, learning activities. Les Petits Painters offers art lessons to stimulate young people’s minds and develop them mentally, socially, physically (dexterity, coordination, observation), and emotionally. Children will acquire skills through new techniques and processes using a wide range of tools, learn about new materials, and create projects that express their thoughts and personality. Art classes are Thursdays, 10:00 - 11:00 am; 9 weeks each term. Contact us for a trial!

HOLIDAY ART & CRAFT CLASSES for Primary school attending children 5.5 - 12 YEARS We offer a diverse range of art lessons during school holidays: drawing, painting, printmaking & sculpture.​ All primary school attending children are eligible for holiday classes. Preschoolers are NOT accepted into our holiday program. Programs are uploaded to the START ART SCHOOL website 4 weeks prior to school holidays. CLASS SIZES A maximum of 12 children per art class AGE Children must be attending Primary school and be at least 5.5 years old to attend classes. SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM DATES - 2025 AUTUMN : 14 April - 24 April WINTER : 7 July - 18 July SPRING : 29 September - 10 October CHRISTMAS : 15 - 22 December ​ TIMES AM CLASS: 9.30am-12.30pm & PM CLASS: 1.30pm-4.30pm Lunchtime supervision is provided for children staying a full day at no additional charge. In this workshop, you'll dive into the world of sensory play with our Cloud Dough making class. Learn how to make the dough step by step and then enjoy playtime with it. This hands-on experience promises heaps of fun for children, allowing them to engage their senses in a unique and creative way. Gain the skills to create cloud dough from scratch Learn the process step by step Enjoy playtime with the dough We'll guide you through the class, providing all the materials you need to create your own cloud dough masterpiece. The experience may feel tactile, soothing, and engaging as you explore the different textures and possibilities of the dough. Delight in the joy of sensory play and watch as your imagination comes to life through this fun and educational activity. Knowledge required No prior experience needed! Just a love for hands-on fun and a desire to get messy while creating something magical. What to bring Attendees need: Ingredients: Corn Flour, hair conditioner (we used apple-scented), poster paint (we used pink) Equipment: Mixing bowls, spoons, 1 cup and 1/2 cup measuring cups. Workspace: A clean, spacious area for mixing and playing. Creativity: An open mind and a willingness to explore!
