School Holiday Adventure Program

Want to give you child an unforgettable experience these school holidays?

During the school holidays The Salvation Army – Youthlink Adventure & Recreation Services run a variety adventure programs for young people aged 7-18 years. The program is an evidence based outdoor program that has been running for 19 years. Programs are designed by Outdoor Recreation experts and Occupational Therapists. Common areas of improvement in program participants includes increased self-confidence, motivation, team work, leadership, improved physical health and wellbeing.

Drop off and pick up location: 13 Walters Rd, Blacktown, NSW (Youthlink Sargent’s Challenge Centre)
Start and finish time: 8am-4pm
 
Monday: Low ropes, high ropes, team challenges @ Youthlink Sargent’s Challenge Centre
Tuesday: Bush walking and swimming @ Glenbrook National Park
Wednesday: Canoeing @ Nepean River
Thursday: Rock Climbing @ Blue Mountains National Park
Friday: Abseiling @ Mt portal Lookout, Glenbrook National Park
*Note: Can book for all or some of program days
 
What you can expect program to cover:
Outdoor adventure experiences
Lunch, snacks, drinks on each outdoor adventure experience (healthy and delicious)
All equipment and program materials provided
Qualified, experienced and caring staff
Photos taken of the participant doing awesome activities are provided to the participant to keep
Feedback at the end of each activity day emailed or texted to participant’s parent/guardian
Insurances and national park fees covered
Loads of fun and unforgettable experiences!

Program Costs:
$129 per day (max ratio is 1:6)
