Located on Melbournes beautiful Albert Park Lake, the Y Rowing Centre provides an opportunity for people of all ages (from teens through to mature age adults) to learn and enjoy rowing in a safe and friendly atmosphere and at an affordable price.
Schoolgirls - We offer rowing/sculling sessions and competition crew training on weekdays after school. Individuals can join our multi-school crews or you can make up a crew from your own school. We have a range of squads to suit your skill level from beginner to competitive.
We offer learn to row programs for both males and females, and have pathways available for those wanting to return from rowing after a break.
Always wanted to try rowing? Every month the Y Rowing Club runs Come & Try sessions on the 1st Sunday of the month at 10am. These sessions are open to both male and female participants from teens to mature age adults. Cost $20. [$15 Under 18 & Seniors Card] You dont need to bring your own crew as there are always other beginners, like yourself, ready to make up a crew. No experience necessary.
