WSKF – World Shotokan Karate-do Federation
We are a national karate organisation with clubs in metropolitan Perth (Maylands, Baldivis and Mirrabooka) and country Victoria (Hamilton, Portland and Warrnambool). Our style of Shotokan karate is one of the original styles and is an authentic Japanese karate. We focus on the traditional Budo aspects of the art as well, we participate in competition (sports) style karate. A member of the only government recognised karate body, the Australian Karate Federation, our members will have an avenue to compete in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020 when karate will be recognised as an official sport for the first time.
