Description

The West Coast Wolverines are an American Football (Gridirion) club based in Craigie, Western Australia.

The Wolverines currently have three squads entered into the Gridiron West competition: Under 19's (age 14 - 18), Womens (age 16+) and Mens (age 18+).

The club was founded in 2006 and started out with only an Under 19's squad. However with the increasing popularity of the sport and the need for another team in the northern suburbs, by 2010 the club had expanded to include a Mens squad.

The club has been forever growing since it started, and in 2014, the Under 19's triumphed by winning their first Gridiron West championship, courtesy of an undefeated season.

In 2017, the Wolverines launched a women's team into the Gridiron West competition and qualified for the Playoffs in the leagues' inaugural women's season.

In 2018, the club launched their own flag football competition - West Coast Flag Football League - which plays flag football on Monday evenings at Warrandyte Park, Craigie.
