Description

Fun, upbeat, pop music is the soundtrack to a sport that fuses dance styles such as:
- Jazz
- Ballet
- Contemporary
- Hip Hop
- Dance Aerobics
- Marching
- Yoga

Our innovative choreography changes annually and is designed for maximum variety and fun. Each age group's dance syllabus includes aerobic style warm-ups, standing and floor exercises and dances that are based on ballet and jazz movement.

Physical Culture ( Physie) is the perfect combination of movements designed to increase:
- Strength
- Fitness
- Flexibility
- Coordination
- Posture
- Brain Development
- Musical and Spatial Awareness

Physie empowers girls for life by building:
- Confidence amongst our members
- Pride by working in a Team
- Achievement in competing for themselves and their Club
- Life skills such as Fair Play and Sportsmanship
- A sense of Community (being part of our physie family) and belonging

Warner Lakes Physie Club was established in January 2011 and is a BJP affiliated club. Our aim is to build confidence, good posture, fitness, core strength and flexibility through exercise and dance. But most of all we want you to have fun!
We pride ourselves on being a family friendly club, with no pressure to compete, but all the support to thrive and succeed.

Our teachers Kim-Marie and Nicole, come with over 50+ years of experience bewteen them. Kim-Marie is also a University qualified teacher, who has worked in all facets of education from Childcare to Secondary Education, so she understands how dance and movement can have a positive effect of the growth and nurturing of young people and the ongoing physical and social benefits it provides to our ladies as well. Kim-Marie has been accredited by BJP as a Level 3 Associate Teacher. Nicole ahs been a Physie Mum for over 10 years and competes as a Lady herself. She became an Associate on 2020.
