Since 2008, Theatrecraft Youth Unlimited (TYU) has been the youth development part of The Victorian Drama League Inc. It's a not for profit, volunteer run org. attracting leaders from diverse theatre backgrounds with wide ranging skills and experiences. For youth, age approx 13-21, twice a year we offer residential drama camps - sometimes training and skills workshops, other times we work intensively to stage a production in around a week. We seek out funding from different organisations to keep the costs low for participants, so as much as possible, accommodation and food are the costs passed on to those who register. Next project is live in at Allambee Camp June 28-July 3. Workshops in circus, stage design and tech, and of course acting, stagecraft and a Vic Health short film to make while we are there. Winter 2021 supported by Baw Baw Shire . We've always had the policy that if something doesnt go ahead we would fully refund...but in 13 years we've never needed to do that. Winter 2021 is our 21st program.
