The Old Priory is a School Camp, Bed and Breakfast and Function facility. It is an historical Convent which has been kindly restored to cater for one and all - from large group bookings - catering up to 200 to individual quiet restored Miners cottages , 2 bedroom apartment, individual family rooms, doubles and single rooms and situated in the centre of Beautiful Beechworth in North East Victortia - a town with so much authentic early Australian history to explore. Enjoy visiting our Precinct which takes in the Burke Museum, Powder Magazine, Telegraph Station and the Courthouse. Learn all about Ned Kelly, Visit the Old Beechworth Gaol - learn all about the infamous Ned Kelly and his family! Take a Ghost Tour in the old asylum at night! Find your fortune -goldpanning at Woolshed Falls! We cater for all in the Cycling world - we are very close to the Rail Trail, have bikes for hire and all the information you require to find your way around Beechworth. Our friendly staff are very happy to organise your bookings and transport (coaches for large groups) Our School Camp focus is on Australian history with fun however, we are launching our new Camp program in Term 2 which is a' Sustainability and Well Being' program based on 'paddock to plate' A very exciting and practical hands on program to learn exactly how our produce gets to 'The Plate' - this entails actually visiting and being part of the many Producers' properties including our famous Beechworth Honey! Visits to The Beechworth Brewery , Cellar doors, and our delightfull Restaurants, Coffee Shops and our famous Beechworth Bakery.
