Description
The Old Auction House is an independently run multi-use arts precinct located in the regional Victorian town of Kyneton, just an hour north of Melbourne.

The Old Auction House is currently home to four working artist studios, a teaching space for visiting artists, two gallery spaces with rotating exhibitions, and a retail shop specialising in quality Australian handmade items and craft supplies.

Each school holidays we run our Crafty Kids Holiday Program for kids aged 7-13. Most sessions run for 2 hours where kids can be dropped off and collected at the end of the session, kids engage in a set project we try to have a different medium and or technique each day of the holidays to engage as many kids in the arts as possible! With Leadlight By Ettore in Studio 1 and Kyneton Craftery in Studio 4 we try to include several glass based activities as well plenty of other craft sessions and even a few traditional art sessions as well!

Adult craft sessions, glass workshops and other art and creative workshops are run out of our space in our studios as well as visiting artists in our teaching space. See our website for our current timetables.

The Old Auction House is open 7 days and the entire space has been renovated to be accessible for those with prams, wheelchairs, and mobility issues.available
