Thanks to decades of research and advances in the field of exercise physiology and epidemiology we now know that movement is in fact a medicine for the mind and body. The right exercise prescription can reduce the symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress.

At The Exercise Therapist, we've taken the rich history of movement and the modern science of exercise and translated it into a clinically effective whole person health and wellness treatment protocol. We take your mental and physical blueprint, then prescribe the perfect dose of exercise and movement to set you on your pathway to wellness.

The Exercise Therapist's fundamental elements of therapy are strength, mindfulness, breath, mobility and cardiovascular exertion. They can be found in our curated offering of group movement and exercise sessions, virtual sessions and group and private programs. For those who have a more complex blueprint we offer one-on-one consultations and ongoing private wellness case management.

Our school age offering of group classes and specialised programs aims to support adolescents as they grow and develop, physically and mentally into young adults. From our fun social group classes to our anxiety management and sports specific strength program - we cater for the varying needs of adolescents and their developing minds and bodies. Price details: $349 (2 days/week) or $175 (1 day/week) Exercise physiologist and or sports scientist supervised training sessions.

Navigating normalised stress and low moods, clinical anxiety and depression, growing pains, hormones as well as social and school pressures with your child can be challenging. At The Exercise Therapist we understand this, and we are here to support with our prescribed, term-based programs. We start with a thorough initial assessment and then prescribe a personalised training program for your child to optimise their individual mental and physical needs.
