We are a creative hub in the heart of Nowra with a large working art studio and gallery.
Classes and workshops are offered in all painting mediums, textile dyeing, shibori, resin, alcohol inks, acrylic pouring, basket weaving, creative writing, poetry and much more.
We welcome all ages and abilities and accept Creative Kids vouchers from Service NSW. NDIS clients and other community groups are also welcome to join us for classes, workshops or creative special event occasions. We are wheelchair accessible and dog friendly. Dog beds are provided for our visiting seeing eye dogs and therapy dogs.
Our trained and experienced teachers are passionate about their art practice and generously share their knowledge and expertise.
Holiday activities operate for students aged 5 to 17 and students can also join our classes held during the school terms.
Special group and business events can be also be tailored to suit your needs.
All our staff strongly believe in the benefits that can be found in engaging in creative activities. Our teaching philosophy focuses on the development of individual skills through play, exploration and discovery, facilitated by our teachers to bring out the unique individual style in all our students. We have a "no fail" approach as we believe we all possess creative skills. Helping students find their niche is an important part of our practice. Immersing students in the many processes involved in creating artwork is both a joyful experience and provides self-discovery moments worth celebrating.
We encourage and embrace all forms of art. Our desire is to create a community hub that brings art to life for everyone in an inviting, inclusive, comfortable and caring atmosphere.
