Did you know one the best kept secrets in football development is on your doorstep?

TST has been running for about 15 years and we have helped players of all levels improve.

We start with U6s who are just beginning their journey, to 18 year olds who are preparing for trials in Europe. In 2018 of the 200 Australians playing abroad, 6 had gone through TST at some point during their development year. We have worked players who have gone on to be full internationals, professionals, semi professionals whilst also working with 6 year olds who are just starting out. Having said this, we just want players to improve and enjoy what they do, no matter what level they are.

We are a football (soccer) technical development program that offers a unique learning environment. The focus is on individual technique and game intelligence in tight spaces,
We run small group (4-6 players) coaching on Saturday afternoons in Hawthorn.

We are here to compliment team training, so if your child plays and needs more exposure to the technical side of the game (something team coaches struggle to fully cover due to the need to prepare for games).

We have players travel from Geelong and Mornington to join in our sessions because they cant find anything else that comes close to what we do.

    TST - simply the best
    My son began TST aged 10, so was years behind the best already. But in just over 2 years, he’s gone from a good Wallabies player to a good NPL player. And this despite not being fast, big, strong or super committed. He’s now two footed, skilful, game intelligent and so confident in his soccer. And he’s getting better every single week. I can’t wait to see the next 2 years of development. Most importantly, TST has taught him the power of practice, which is a great life lesson too. Thanks a million Darren and the whole TST team.

    My son has been training with TST for many years and it is thanks to the great training there he has achieved all of his advanced skills to become a very confident footballer for his age. TST has listen to all concerns we had had from time to time through different stages of his journey so far and has been able to make him feel belonged there and comfortable with being able to push to the next level every time. Anyone interested in becoming a good footballer is recommended to train at TST.

    Seven plus years at TST
    TST maintains the fun and entertainment in soccer, alongside providing the necessary lessons and challenges in the pursuit of creating a well-formed player and person. TST is more than soccer. It has helped my boys grow not only as skilful players but to also function individually and in a team through their own contribution and respect for their peers. There are valuable life lessons a well formed program like TST bring. Much like soccer is constantly evolving, the TST directors and coaches are following the same suit so as to stay relevant, and provide the best possible service to their students. Highest recommendation. 5 stars.

    My sons have been doing TST for just over 2 years. In that time my one of my sons has gone from "competent" Community Club player to NPL player and more recently being invited to an FFV TIDC trial. More importantly both my sons are enjoying the game more than ever and never want to miss a session even after all this time! Whilst there are more "academies" now than there has ever been I would never even consider an alternative for my kids whilst TST exists. Regards Grateful Parent

    My 11 year old has been doing TST for just over a year. Even though development is a long game, The improvement in his footwork and his confidence and effectiveness in games has already been astronomical. Besides the obvious technique benefits my son looks forward to going every week and TST has helped him develop an identity as a future player. He sees TST as a place to be with other boys trying to become great players.

    Awesome program!
    Hi just wanted to say thank you to you and the entire TST team. We have found that program is an exceptional way to accelerate the development of our sons Football skills and technique. Since beginning the program both of our boys are now enjoying playing Football at high levels in school and at club level (NPL). You can see their gradual progression and continued development over time which really shows during match play. A number of their friends and team mates are also keen to join TST so they can continue their development too! Once again thanks to the team and your wonderful program and ongoing support!     Thank you for positive impact on Adam's game and football friendships he made at TST, I feel he is constantly challenged out of his comfort zone and its great to see his understanding of the game is growing as he often extensively discusses training methods and technical drills, we really appreciate all the positive attitude and professional approach to junior development at TST, great job.

    Michael's improvement
    I would like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to Darren and all the coaches at TST for the exceptional work they have done with my son Michael. Michael's has been attending TST for appx. 18 months on a Saturday afternoon. He has during this time improved his technical abilities immensely. This translates to more confidence on the ball during games, as well as better positional play to intercept and foresee dangerous situations before they occur, as well as being able to recognize the right pass to make at the right time.by making himself available, and creating the right passing lanes for his teammates. Before joining TST Michael was at Joye level, since joining he has been able to improve to such an extent that he was able to successfully trial and now be a part of an exciting U12s NPL team. This would never have been possible without TST. A very heartfelt thank you Darren and look forward to supporting you in Michael's development in the coming years. Regards John G

    Thanks your for you coaching and guidance towards Rohaan's soccer journey. We have been lucky to find TST at right time, which has improved Rohaan's soccer overall level (Technical skills, 1V1, awareness etc.) significantly and as a result, he has been offered to play with good clubs at higher level.
