We are a family owned Authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School situated in Chippendale. We have an internationally qualified Black Belt Instructor with over 15 years experience in teaching Self Defence classes for all ages. We currently run Kids Anti Bullying and Child Safety Awareness programs for kids. Our programs will prepare your kids for the challenges they will face in all areas of their life. We work with parents and guardians in ensuring that your children understand how to deal with difficult situations not only in the school playground or classroom but also throughout life. We promote Health & Well being to all of our students by re enforcing the importance of school, studying and personal hygiene.
Our programs will give your kids the confidence they deserve and at the same time will be extremely beneficial in helping them develop Strength, Co-ordination, concentration, communication, self Control and team work.
Our classes are well structured and fun so your children will enjoy coming to classes and socialising with other children. At Team Buda BJJ we embrace kids with special needs as well and helping them deal with the challenges that they face on a daily basis. Our classes are productive with lots of rounds and games to keep the children engaged but at the same time having fun.
Every month in Australia, Hundreds of children miss school due to fear of bullies. In the Team Buda Anti Bullying program, our goal is to instill in your child unshakable confidence so they can overcome bullies without violence.
We will teach your child to use verbal assertiveness to deter bullies and several non-violent self-defense techniques to stay safe if physically assaulted. Importantly, we don’t teach how to punch or kick, since this often does more harm than good. Instead, we use leverage-based control holds to neutralize threats without violence.
