Shayne McCormick Ballet Centre offers classes for all age groups in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance. Fully qualified staff guide and nurture learning for both boys and girls. Students can choose between learning as a hobby or take examinations in Royal Academy of Dance Classical Ballet Examinations or ADA examinations in Tap or Jazz.. As a leading Performing Arts school students who wish to can become involved in concerts, displays and performances. Special classes for boys Hip Hop, Adult Ballet and Kindergarten aged children.
Former students have been accepted into the following Ballet Companies :- Australian, Royal New Zealand, West Australian, Queensland, Royal Danish Ballet and danced in both National and International in productions such as Dance North, Expressions, Leigh Warren Dancers (contemporary companies); Cats, Beauty and the Beast, and Jersey Boys, just to name a few.
