Description

Creative Writing Classes with the top selling author of Netball Dreamz, Leeanne Vernon.
Fun, interactive classes with an emphasis on creativity, these classes also build confidence.
How it works:
Every week I introduce a new topic with a series of questions meant to inspire them. We chat around the table before the children write for 16-20 minutes. Finally they share their stories with the group. As do I.
I offer encouragement - ALWAYS - and a hint to improve their stories.
Writing is a very emotionally exposing craft. My theory is, people know when they haven't done their best, so there is no need to bring that to light. Praise for things well done, always works better, hence I keep any criticism to a minimum.
Over time, there is a huge improvement in their writing ability, both for content and the amount they can write. Time takes time however.
I conduct weekly classes for primary & secondary students, plus adults, as well as
half day school holiday programs during term breaks.

Weekly classes:
Primary students: Tuesday & Thursday 4.15 - 5.15
Secondary. Thursday 5.30-6.40
Adults: Tuesday 1.30-3.00
Thursdays. 7.30-9.00
