DOJO's in Dodges Ferry, Lauderdale, Claremont, Sorell, Brighton, Old Beach and Lindisfarne Rykyu Shotokan Karate is a family oriented martial arts club, we cater to all ages and fitness levels, training in traditional Shotokan Karate as well as conditioning and Self-Defence for the real world.

    My children train with sensei chris and always come home happy would suggest you give ryukyu a try definately reccommend.

    My children have been attending classes with sensei chris for the last 6 months and have found all the instuctors very helpfull and understanding and would definately recommend ryukyu

    Ryukyu shotokan karate :)
    My children have been instructed by sensei Chris doing karate for many years! His club is fantastic and very welcoming! I would recommend this club to anyone that is looking to do any form of martial arts as I believe Chris to be the best sensei instructor in Tasmania and his knowledge of karate shows in his skill and ethics of teaching. He has great communication skills with kids and always encourages them to do their best! Highly recommended :)

    Ryukyu Shotokan Karate is awesome
    Sensei Chris has been my instructor since I was 4 years old. I am now 12... Through this time he has made karate enjoyable and has always pushed me to do my best. Since going out on his own and starting his own karate school the whole school is more welcoming and all members encourage each other. This is the best karate school in the state so I recommend it to anyone .....
