Rippon Lea House & Garden - Children's Parties
Event price: $50+
Price details: Price is $25 per child with a minimum of 12 children required for a party booking.

Old Fashioned Birthday Parties.
Gather your friends and classmates for an Old Fashioned themed Birthday party at Rippon Lea. Parties are designed for children aged between 5-12 years and can be organised on weekends. There are two options: the Old Fashioned Party and the Old Fashioned Boat Party. Parties will be set in the children’s garden at Rippon Lea near the gate house. Every party comes with a party host/s to help run the event. Old fashioned games include tug-of-war, croquet, sack races and skittles (equipment provided). Party bags will be provided at the end of the session, contents include set of marbles, postcards, Ripplea Bear paint kit and old fashioned lollypops.
Children must be supervised by accompanying adults at a ratio of 1 adult per 4 children. This is in addition to the Rippon Lea party host. Additional adults not participating in the party can book or purchase garden entry from the Gate House on the day.

- A minimum charge of $300 will apply to parties with 12 or fewer children.
- Upon confirmation of date availability a $300 deposit will be taken from the credit card provided. Your deposit will be included in the total invoice. All payments are manually processed, and may not be immediate.

- A ratio of 1 adult to 4 children is required at the parties. Additional adults at a reduced rate can be added to your booking if you wish.
- If a confirmed booking is cancelled outside 2 weeks of the reserved date your deposit will be refunded. Notice within 2 weeks of the reserved date will result in $150 of the deposit retained.
- Numbers and names of guests must be confirmed 7 days prior to arrival
- Any outstanding amount owing must be paid prior to your event.

The children will arrive at Rippon Lea House and Gardens ready for a massive day of activities, games and treasure hunts.
They will be divided into smaller groups and spend the following 2 hours rotating through 6 activity zones. These activities may include the following;
• Paper airplane master class
• Slimy snail race
• Marble madness
• 2 x massive treasure hunts
• Sack race
• Egg & spoon race
• Melbourne's biggest tug-a-war
• Nine-pin skittles
• Mini golf
• Mud pie madness
• and lots more
At the end of the 6 activity zones, all participating children will receive a certificate to show that they've completed Rippon Lea's Great Day Out!
*Time for lunch in the gardens will be available from 12:30pm - 1:30pm (lunch not included).
