Description
Piano/keyboard, clarinet, flute & theory tuition for all ages. For fun and/or exams. 20 years experience, Dip. AGMEd, AAGM, MAGTR, MAGA, associate member of QMTA, blue card holder.

I am friendly and enthusiastic teacher and have 25 years experience. I enjoy teaching children from approx. age 7 and above, as well as adults who are keen to learn a new skill, or return to playing after having had many years away from it. I grew up in Mareeba and completed my music teaching diploma via the Australia Guild of Music Education, Melbourne, as a remote student. I taught privately in Mareeba for several years before going to live in the UK in 2003, where I taught both privately and as a peripatetic teacher in schools via a local music service. My family and I returned to Australia in 2016.

My fees are $60 for 1 hour, $30 for 30 min (most popular), $20 for 20 min (popular with children), $15 for 15 min (ideal for the youngest of pupils). Lessons can be just for fun, but I am also happy to prepare pupils for exams with AMEB, Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool & AGME.

Lessons take place in my purpose-built air-conditioned teaching studio in Mareeba. I also offer online lessons via Skype or Zoom for pupils isolated by distance.
