Who Can Do Wing Chun Kung Fu?...
Due to its formulation by a Nun of the Shaolin temple, it can be easily learnt and used effectively by children, men and women of any size or age. By practising Wing Chun, a person will:

- improve his/her health, fitness and stamina;
- increase his/her self-esteem and naturally his/her confidence;
- learn respect, self discipline, hard work and dedication;
- improve his/her strength, speed, co-ordination and reflexes;
- build character; and
- learn a practical and effective self defence system.

The Progressive Wing Chun Kung Fu School is being taught by Sifu Andrew Yee. Sifu Andrew Yee began trainging in the 1980's and has been practising and teaching Wing Chun for more than 25 years. His school is currently located at St. Eugene's College, Station Road, Burpengary (Opposite the Police Station, on Station Road).

We have childrens classes, adults classes and ladies self defence classes. You will find a class that suits your needs...

What is the age limit in the classes?...
The childrens' classes are for children aged around 6-12 years of age.

Other than that there is no age limit!....
You are never to old to learn, and if you have never done any martial arts before, that's OK! ... No time like the present!!

It was Bruce Lees' influence that made the art of Kung Fu popular as Wing Chun Kung Fu formed the basis of his fighting art and philosophy.

Softness and relaxation are stressed throughout training and the practise of brute force should be avoided. Wing Chun Kung Fu is an effective and practical form of self defence which can be used in todays society.

This style of Kung Fu is very practical and has proven to be excellent for self defence for men, women and children.
