Description

Charcuterie is the ancient French art of creating terrine, sausage, rillettes and pâtés. Our products combine traditional French technique with the best Central Victorian produce guaranteeing a successful picnic, light supper or shared table. We’re happy to spend the time creating the produce so you can take the time to share it with friends and family.

The vision for Piper St Food Company is to make food that begs to be shared. Damian has always made terrines for family gatherings, like a day at the races or casual family lunches and continues a three-generation tradition of giving jars of rich creamy pâté as Christmas presents.

We want to continue these traditions and create food that can be packed for sunny picnics, create an elegant light supper or impress the socks off your friends as the perfect pre dinner snack. It’s food that brings people together and you should feel really good for sharing it.

With a beautiful purpose built kitchen in Central Victoria’s food heartland Piper Street Kyneton, where we have access to some of the best free range meat, poultry, eggs and award winning organic garlic & herbs. When you’re as obsessed with not just flavour but layers of flavour as Damian is, the quality of every ingredient counts.

We are determined that every single ingredient that goes into these products has it’s own story to tell and we don’t want these compromised by any chemicals or mass production techniques. Each product is lovingly hand made and recipes and products will change with each season. We don’t want our terrines looking the same batch after batch but we do want them to taste amazing.

Visit our purpose built cooking school at Piper St Food Company. Our classes are full of knowledge, local produce and passion. We pass down traditional methods and recipes that will interest the novice cook and industry professionals. (Private and Corporate Classes available)

Parental Supervision: Optional

Kids love pizza and what perfect way to get your child involved in cooking than making their own pizza from scratch. Kids will learn how to make a classic pizza dough, roll their own and top with their favourite topping. This is a very popular class!
