With over 20 years of martial art training, competitions and teaching behind us, you will see why we are a great fit for you and your child. Your child's listening, co-ordination and motor skills will all improve quickly. We focus as much on the building of their character and social skills as we do teaching them great martial arts.

Children's classes are available to for ages 3 and up and are held at 4 different locations. We currently have classes at Helensvale, Labrador, Musgrave and Southport being run 6 days of the week so you can bring your child to the time that suits you.

Classes are also available for adults with lessons and classes being tailored to suit each student and child's learning style. Phoenix Arts' Martial Arts and Fitness programmes are designed not only to produce results but do it safely and progressively. The children's martial arts programme is geared toward learning loads while being fun and progressive. Parents often comment on seeing results in and out of the class within their child's first month of training.

With martial arts games and activities mixed with skills and drills training, your child will have fun while learning how to defend themselves.

    Phoenix Arts. A great school
    I have been taking my child to Phoenix Arts for around one and a half years. She has gained a lot through her training. I have been so happy with the school, I have now joined myself. The teachers are excellent and I cnt speak highly enough of them. Give them a go. You won't regret it.

    Fun learning
    I have enjoyed practicing martial arts with coach Gabrielle. The classes are very good: fun as well as educational. It’s good exercise where I learnt how to defend myself as well as having fun in the process. Would recommend!

    Highly recommended
    Phoenix Arts offers classes to cater to all ages and abilities. The staff is super friendly. My 2 children really enjoyed the training. I loved how the trainers taught the children respect and helped them to focus.

    Incredible organisation
    Pheaonix arts martial arts is an incredible organisation that I feel very lucky to have come across. Miss Gabrielle is my children’s teacher and together with her equally amazing assistant (miss Alex) have set a bench mark! Gabrielle is clear, concise and most of all - very motivating; offering everything from positive guidance to goal setting and self confidence and everything in between- Gabrielle and Alex lead by example. Gabrielle is excellent with children of all ages! My children have come so far and have improved on so many levels since attending pheaonix arts martial arts classes, my husband and I couldn’t be prouder of them. I would highly recommend pheaonix arts martial arts to anyone and everyone. I had tried other martial arts with my children with no luck, perhaps the children felt slightly scared and somewhat intimidated- however after the free trial session with miss Gabrielle- the children were so comfortable and happy and we have not looked back.

    Phoenix Martial Arts is great!!!
    My son had been asking for a little while to do martial arts. I am really happy that we chose to learn with Phoenix Martial Arts. James is a great teacher and is very welcoming to everyone. My son is taught by Gabrielle, Alex and Noah. They are great teachers and show a lot of care with all the children in the class. We are very happy at Phoenix Martial arts

    Great School
    It's been a really fun experience to be a part of Phoenix Arts Martial Arts. Everyone is really enjoyable to be around and there is no nerves or stress when I face the day with them

    Awesome teachers
    James and Gabrielle are terrific trainers. They are passionate and love what they do. They're very down to earth and hardworking. I had to blackmail my 11 year old son, who is on the spectrum, to give Phoenix arts a go because he's into his video games more than being active. James somehow persuaded my son to join and for that I am grateful.
