Welcome to Peaceful Rooms Montessori Centre in our new location in Byford on the Scarp. We offer Montessori programs for infants and children 0-6 years old, and support parents and early childhood educators to bring peace into the lives of children in their care.

We provide a variety of programs for children which support their development, using the Montessori approach.
- Montessori Playgroup caters for birth-4 year olds and their parents. Its a great way to make regular time to play intentionally with your baby or toddler, whilst learning about the Montessori approach and connecting with other parents.
- Our Montessori Children's House provides a kindergarten / preschool for 2.5-6 year olds in a creche style service. Children's House is suited to those who are comfortable with growing independence though parents can choose to remain at the centre if they wish.
- COMING SOON- A Home-School Hub to support the families choosing to home school those first few years of required school.
- During the Holidays we also offer a variety of sessions to keep little ones busy, and we hold special Community Events throughout the term too.

    Have enrolled my grandson for October in Armadale . I took him to it at Oakford and he really loved it but had to cease because of circumstances. I love that its more organised than the ordinary playgroups where kids run around crazy. There is more structure at Montoressi. Which makes it more peacefull.

    That is so true Judy! I often explain to families that we don't structure the time (as is often the case in non-Montessori settings with children being told what to do, when, and for how long), but we do structure the environment to create a sense of order. This allows children to make their own choices about what they will do and for how long, which is more peaceful for all! I can't wait to have your precious family join us again in our cute new home.     A relaxed and peaceful environment
    I have been attending Peaceful Rooms Montessori Playgroup for two terms now with my son’s who just turned two and four months. Alana has truly created a peaceful environment where children are free to explore the beautiful activities and Montessori materials at their own pace. My two year old is engaged from the time we arrive until we leave, and I’m sure he would stay longer if he could. My four month old loves relaxing under the Munari mobile and watching the older children play. It has also been an opportunity for me to learn more about the Montessori approach.

    Amazing service
    Absolutely amazing playgroup and big kids class! We loved our one with peaceful rooms and Alana and miss it dearly! Alana has the patience of a saint and her attention to detail is spot on. SHes so caring and knowledgeable that I learnt so much from her myself. MY Kids loved it too!

    Fantastic Playgroup
    I started this playgroup with some basic Montessori knowledge, and Alana was always great at helping me figure out how to teach the kids to use the toys/activities/jobs. Peaceful Rooms playgroup is great safe space for newbies like me and those who have used Montessori as a model for educating their children from a newborn stage. The space is beautiful and the other mums are so friendly. I love it and will keep coming back.

    Great atmosphere, great company
    My 1 year old boy loves his days at Peaceful Rooms spending time with me and learning the jobs. The sandpit and outdoor space is his fav. A great way to meet some lovely parents too.
