If you enjoy fun, games, learning new skills and going on adventures in teams of kids your own age then Noosa Sea Scouts has a lot to offer. You’ll learn life-long skills as you progress through the Scouts Award Scheme. But you don’t just to earn badges, you make friends and have fun under the guidance of trained leaders who encourage you to do your best. As you move through the different sections of scouting you can participate in a range of action-packed activities with anything from a small group of 5 scouts alone in the bush to over 10,000 young people at the Australian Jamboree.

One of the few Sea Scout groups in Queensland the Noosa Sea Scouts offers a fantastic opportunity to learn core skills in a range of water activities; in addition to the full array of outdoor recreational pursuits in other scouting group programs. The group has specialist leaders trained to guide youth members through various levels of competency in sailing, canoeing, rafting, navigation, rowing, water and boating safety. As a Sea Scout you will also have a great time orienteering, camping, abseiling, learning bush craft, cooking, and getting involved in community service just like any other scout. In fact Noosa Sea Scouts has one of the best records of any scout group in the state at competition camps where their skills are pitted against up to 800 other scouts; with Noosa patrols regularly featuring in the top three positions.
