Music Works Magic, established in 1996, believes that music education truly is one of the cornerstones for successful life-long learning. Our teaching is based on the philosophy of Zoltan Kodaly. According to Kodaly our first instrument is our voice, and at Music Works Magic we believe that if you can talk, you can sing and if you can walk, you can dance! We want to teach our students to think in sound.

At Music Works Magic, we understand that voice is our first instrument and singing in tune trains us to listen and recall the sounds that we hear.
If you want your children to learn to play instruments, its vital that they master their first instrument - their voice - and learn to sing in tune. Good musicians always sing.

This process can begin with newborns. We dont wait until our children are 'old enough' before beginning to talk to them. Babies have musical memory from as young as 22 weeks in-utero. Its wonderful if children can be surrounded by a community, or group, that can sing together, vocalise and interact through music.

We run pre-instrumental classes from newborns each day, Monday - Saturday, a Primary School Choir each Wednesday afternoon, as well as private and group instrumental lessons from 3yo to 99yo.
