Don’t wait until your child is at a school age to begin music lessons. Research has found a strong link between music and language development.

MUSIC MASTERS MUSIC SCHOOL specialises in music for babies, toddlers and young children. The evidence based program exposes children to the fundamentals of beat, rhythm, listening and singing skills. Experiencing these musical foundations develops a young child's auditory skills as they learn to distinguish speech from singing. This assists their language development and eventually their ability to read.

The Music Masters Early Childhood Program builds a solid foundation for Instrumental Lessons. Once the fine motor skills of a child is sufficiently developed, usually around 5 or 6, they are given the option of Learning the Piano or Guitar. Many children then stay enrolled at Music Masters Music School throughout their schooling years resulting in a life long love of music.

If the child chooses, and they are developmentally ready, they are able to prepare for an AMEB or Trinity College Music Examination. This can take the form of a Classical, Leisure or Rock Exam. At Music Masters Music School we are able to prepare students to sit for all levels ... Preliminary, Gr 1 - 8, AMUSA and Diploma examinations. Sitting the higher exams when a student is in year 11 or 12 at school can provide an alternate pathway into tertiary studies.

There is a lovely community at Music Masters. Young toddlers experience a familiar group of parents, grandparents and carers each week absorbing a social and emotional dialog. They observe other children and their siblings, constantly learning how they and others relate to each other. School aged children attend weekly lessons while other family members relax or borrow books from the library in the coffee area. Parents share their experiences of raising a family. It is a place that nurtures not just the development of music but the growth of each person.
