The Museum and Art Gallery of the NT (MAGNT) is a great place to bring your family for a FREE fun day out. There are many fascinating creatures on display and the kids will love learning about 'Sweetheart', the preserved 5.1m Saltwater Crocodile on display.

Little Explorers is a also a free wet season educational program (October - April) on Fridays from 9.30 – 11am at the MAGNT's Discovery Centre. It's aimed at kids aged 2 to 4 years but toddlers and babies are also welcome.

We'll paint, draw, walk through the galleries, listen to stories and even sing a song or two. Your child will also get a chance to see the fish and turtles being fed in our pond at 10am!

This interactive, hands-on learning environment will bring out your child's artistic or scientific flair!

Teachers can also book a school excursion and perhaps a talk from one of our team of curators or volunteers.

So come along and enjoy a day at the Museum and finish off with lunch or dinner watching the sun set at the Cornucopia Museum Cafe.
