Welcome to Loam Island Scouts. We are located on the banks of the Ross River in Rasmussen, Townsville. At the Community facility building.
Member of Kennedy Regional Scout group. (Greater Townsville Area)
Proud to be part of the Local "Upper Ross" community comprising
of Kelso, Rasmussen and Condon.
Open to all boys and girls from ages 7 - 14 years old.
We have Scout Troop that meets Every Tuesday night 6.30-8.30pm
Cub Scouts Meet every Wednesday night 6.30-8pm.

Scouts is for everyone and challenges, inspires youth with adventure, friendship, physical activities, camping, first aid, and in many more ways.

Canoeing on the Ross River, Being located on the Ross River we do alot of water based activities.

Setting up camp at the Regional Camp at Bluewater. This regional camp went for 2 nights and incorporated challenges against other scout troops in the region.

Regatta held on the Ross River, Annual regional activity where scouts design and build their rafts to race against each other, also on the day is Canoe races and other water based activities.
