Private flute lessons in Brisbane or online for beginners to intermediate-advanced flute students. I'm a professional performing flautist who is currently completing a Masters of Music/Woodwind - Flute at the Hochschule fur Musik und Tanz Koln, Germany (c.- 2026). I completed three years of professional classical flute performance training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) in 2021 and have performed as a guest flautist with major orchestras in Australia such as Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. I have a BMus in Flute Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (2018) and offer flute lessons to students ranging from beginner to intermediate/advanced levels. I have been a registered teacher of the Victorian Music Teachers' Association (VMTA) and have over 8 years of professional teaching experience working with students ranging from complete beginner to intermediate/advanced levels and those aiming to take AMEB Practical Exams. My teaching style is suitable for students who'd like to take their technique and musicality on the flute to the next level. Rates: $90/45mins, $120/hour.

Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) Alumni Lilly Yang (flute) and Elliott Plumpton (violin) team up with Brisbane pianist Mia Huang, to present an afternoon chamber music concert at the Holy Trinity Parish Hall in Fortitude Valley, QLD. Experience the lively sounds of the flute, violin and piano as they come together in perfect harmony. With the spirited chimes of the flute, the delicate plucking of the violin and the powerful hammering of the piano keys, this recital promises to showcase a broad range of mesmerising tone colours. This recital will feature an exciting selection of musical works by adored composers such as Georg Phillip Telemann, Astor Piazzolla, Dmitri Shostakovich and more. Concert start time 3:00PM. Doors open at 2:45PM.
