Knox Skate & BMX Park is not just a skatepark, but and inclusive, creative and rad community!
The skatepark facility itself is owned and maintained by Knox City Council and manged by the Knox YMCA Crew.
The YMCA staff the park on weekends and holidays-providing regular free programs & events!
The park is approx 12 yo (and is currently getting some huge upgrades!)
It currently offers a high quality, international standard regional bowl and street course, caters for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced riders. Specific features include euro gap, 4 stair rail, quarter pipe to vert pillar, 1.5m shallow bowl, 2.7m deep bowl, 2.5m hemisphere cup, grind blocks to flat bank, diamond fun box, stairs rails, and a manual pad. The surfaces include concrete, granite and metal.

Beginners and new park users are advised to visit the park during supervised hours and to seek advice from YMCA park supervisors.

Lessons are a great way to get started or to improve your skills. Regular clinics are held on weekends and in school holidays. Sessions are for all ages and all skill levels from beginner to intermediate. (Suggested minimum age: 5 years old.)

BMX Session: - Tues, Thur, Sat (weather permitting)

Girlsk8 Session:
Last Sunday of the month.

1:00pm - Intermediate
