Kindy Karate is a martial arts program taught by Sensei Sandra and designed especially for kindergarten kids aged 4-6 years old.

Kids will learn genuine Japanese drills and have lots of fun. Sensei Sandra is a multiple medalist, loves teaching karate and has a real passion for working with children. Her role as the chief instructor at Okukan karate school shows the effectiveness of her teaching methods.

Training sessions help children develop a sense of:

- confidence
- self control
- discipline
- awareness
- respect
- integrity
- balance
- coordination

Sign-up for a free trial lesson!

Kindy karate lessons are held weekly. Children are welcome to join at anytime.
Please be aware that classes are small (9 children per class), so limited places apply.

    Great for confidence!
    Karate with Sensei has been great for our son. It has really helped him with his confidence, coordination & concentration, but most of all, he has so much fun each week. A huge thank you to Sensei Sandra.

    Excellent Sensei.
    Sensei Sandra's teachings are well rounded for children of all ages. She works out the childrens behaviours quickly and nurtures accordingly. The children learn karate (Shito Ryu) and have fun at the same time. There is self defence to learn, confidence that develops and games to keep the kids coming back. Highly recommended.

    My daughter practices at home and really looks forward to kindy karate every week. We love it. Sensei Sandra is great.

    Love it!
    My daughter is loving karate and it is definitely doing a lot for her coordination and confidence. Thanks for that...and even though she got very nervous at the grading exam, she is absolutely thrilled with her yellow belt!
