Kids Acting & Theatre Zone (North Brisbane) have taught primary to secondary school children since 2016. We have 4 teachers who speciaise in dance, singing and acting.

Many acting schools tempt students with fame and promises they can't keep. This puts too much pressure on the student. At KATZ we want our students to enjoy their experience, that being the case, student and parent satisfaction is one key indicator. See our website for Testimonials.

We have 2 classes; (1) 5 to 8 year olds and for children who have never experienced acting (2) 9 to 17 years old.
Our tuition fees are $15per 1.5 hour class. Try our free trial class.

CLASS TIME
Saturday morning class is at 9:30 am 11am
For term dates, refer to our website.

We teach students to understand the total acting process, including acting theory that complement their practical training and backstage practices. Students should have a whole of theatre experience while with KATZ.

KATZ students are taught to be professional both on and off stage, however, we also want our students to enjoy their learning experience so our teaching includes:

* playing drama games
* improvisation
* movement and voice
* monologues
* sketches.

* stagecraft.

Acting challenges us to explore our creativity, harness our imagination, improves verbal/nonverbal communications, develop self-confidence, help us assess new situations, and be confident going into unfamiliar situations.

    My 8 year old has been going to KATZ for nearly a year. It has been wonderful for her confidence and great preparation for school oral presentations......and she enjoys it, which is really the most important thing!!!
