Description

Keyed In Music offers flexible programs adapted to your goals and aspirations, no matter what stage of life you are in. Students are encouraged to pursue their own goals and areas of musical interest, whether it be performance orientated, or simply playing music for pleasure. Lessons are usually held on a weekly basis at my studio in Ballarat East.

After an initial assessment, I will discuss a desirable and motivating program with the parent and/or student to help them achieve their goals.

After school lessons are available for Primary and Secondary students. My priorities are instilling a lifetime love of music in children, confidence building, creativity and musicality, and teaching the problem solving skills necessary to continue learning and playing music without the aid of a teacher.

Did you learn to play when you were younger and gave it up because life got too busy. Maybe you have more time now since retiring. ! Why not rediscover the joy you received from playing in your youth and get back to music now?

Are you one of the 70% of adults who wish you'd learnt to play when you were a child? It's never too late to start. I recognise you have a busy life so will work with you to find a time that suits. Lessons available during the day or early evening as negotiated.

Classically trained pianist with 30+ years worldwide experience in teaching and performing as a piano bar entertainer and in bands.
Familiar with multiple musical styles and genres.
I hold a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Adelaide (formerly SACAE).
I have a current approved Working with Children Check, expires 01.02.2028
