Karate Canberra is Gungahlins premier fully-dedicated dojo committed to the practice of traditional Okinawan karatedo and kobudo, and has been operating as a non-profit organisation since 2009.

We offer classes for kids, teens, adults and families. While participating in group training, each student will be led on an individual journey.

At Karate Canberra Kodokan Cummings Karate Dojo or CKD, our mission is to empower every student through traditional martial arts for the modern world by offering the premier karate and kobudo program in Canberra, at our fully-dedicated facility in Mitchell, Gungahlin.

Central to all we do are our Member Promises of Quality Experiences, Quality Instruction, and Quality Facilities.

Our Head Instructor is Reece Cummings (5th Dan), an internationally-certified instructor who has trained extensively in the birthplace of karate, Okinawa Japan.
