The goal of the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF SEQ) is to create a safe, family friendly environment in which to learn practical self defence and original Taekwon-Do.

As a student of ITF SEQ, you will learn self defence skills in a safe and well supervised environment. These skills are taught from a structured curriculum with the year divided into four terms. Each term provides the opportunity for you to advance to the next level and learn additional skills. All training is non-contact.

ITF SEQ is registered with the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General and all instructors are holders of a Blue Card.

Practical self defence is a key component of our classes and is a part of each examination. The emphasis is on practical and appropriate self-protection skills to meet real life situations. You, as a student of ITF SEQ, will focus on specific self defence techniques during each term of the year to ensure you understand the application of the techniques. All self defence techniques are taught in a controlled environment to ensure your safety during training.

Kiddy Kwon is a fun half hour class designed for children aged 5-7 years. The class helps children build self esteem and improve their attention span. Kiddy Kwon is a properly designed and fully supervised program to encourage growth in your child. All instructors hold a valid Blue Card registration.

Additionally, your child will learn self defence awareness skills in a safe environment as part of a structured curriculum.
