Grasshopper Soccer is a community based Australian Soccer Organisation providing the highest of quality soccer training, for children aged 2 -12 years in a fun, supportive and non-competitive environment.

Founded in 1990 Grasshopper Soccer has become a popular name in many families past and present.

Being non-competitive means children are able to develop their skills without any pressure. Support is where the parents and coaches come into the equation. Grasshopper Soccer incorporates parents and coaches to be directly involved in participation, training and encouragement of the child to have a go, especially for our younger players.

Each program provides a building block upon which children can improve their game and develop their character.
More than just a game, we see Grasshopper soccer as a valuable addition to children's learning over a short but important period of time.
Allowing the kids to develop relationships with their teammates, promoting social and mental awareness along with improving physical prowess. We know that the social interaction involved in our programs is just as important as any one ball skill.

Grasshopper Soccer Brisbane Northside and MB covers a large area of the Brisbane, Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast Regions.

We have soccer locations in
Northside Brisbane:
Chermside West, Ascot, Enoggera, Nundah, Everton Park, Zillmere, Stafford Heights.
Moreton Bay:
Narangba, Morayfield, Caboolture Elimbah and Bribie


We offer trial sessions at any location. please contact us to arrange a trial.


Anybody is welcome, any ability, both boys and girls.

We offer Sibling discounts to help make our classes more affordable to everyone.

Our programs run all year round, on weekdays and weekends. We offer programs during the school term.

Aim is to boost confidence, make friends, keep fit, and most importantly have fun in a safe environment.

Job description
We can provide the Grasshopper Soccer Equipment, you need to provide the passion and energy.
You may be a parent who loves soccer like us,
Someone wanting to make some extra money
or maybe you are a university student who has flexible time on weekday afternoons and over the weekend.
WE NEED PEOPLE WHO …
· Have an outgoing personality.
· Love having fun while the kids have a great time too
· Have excellent communication skills with both children and their parents
· Possess a valid Blue Card (or are willing to get one)
· Are reliable and willing to commit to a schedule on a term-long basis
· Have their own reliable transport
· LEAD COACHES need experience coaching children as will be expected to run classes, Assistant coaches, training will be given.
· Must be proactive!
The successful applicant must be available to work in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane after school hours (from 14:45), weekend mornings and later some weekday mornings.
Part-time hours: 1-7 per week dependent on applicant
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Casual
Salary: $35.00 – $45.00 per session.

If you enrol the class is included in term fees. prices: WEEKEND PRICES: Mite-E (2-3YO) $120 for 8 wk 50 mins program, parent participation Pint (4-5YO) $140 for 8 wk 50 mins program, some parent participation (Mite-E sand Pint classes are run together, so ideal for younger siblings) Intro to Micro (5-7YO) $160 for 8 wk 75mins program Micro (7-12YO) $160 for 8 wk 75 mins program (Micro classes are run together for games and the split for the matches) WEEKDAY AFTER SCHOOL PRICES: Intro to Micro(5-7yo) $140 for 8 wk 60 mins program Micro (7-12yo) $140 for 8 wk 60 mins program. ALL MICRO SPECIAL OFFER: One weekday MICRO class and one Saturday MICRO class for $230, Saving a massive $70 We offer a sibling discount also.

We are taking enrolments and booking trial sessions for term 4 2024 NOW.

We take enrolments throughout the term using a pro rata rate ($1 extra a session)
Our classes fill up quickly and will be capped to a set number each term.

    The Grasshopper program is amazing! I cannot speak highly enough of the coaches and their ability to keep the kids engaged with fun activities that develop their love of soccer.

    Grasshopper at KidAcademy Early Learning Centre
    The parents are very happy with the children doing Grass hopper soccer, the children are very excited to go to soccer every Wednesday. We have a parent who has signed her child up to soccer on a Sunday to play.
