Description
FLING Physical Theatre is a regional youth dance organisation based in the Bega Valley. We have been providing young people with the opportunity to perform and develop their artistic skills, alongside professional artists, in a way that uplifts and entertains the whole community since 2001. Our programming is diverse in both performance style and content; with a focus on unique storytelling and letting each performers personality shine. We create space for young people to explore and express their creativity while developing skills in movement and performance, creative thinking, problem solving and teamwork. These experiences build confidence, commitment and resilience. They also support physical health, mental health and wellbeing, and can provide pathways to professional careers in the arts.

Within our Community Engagement program we offer classes in Bega at FLING Studio, and in Bermagui at the Community Centre. Classes include Contemporary Dance, Ballet, Dance Gym and Parkour. We also offer three youth company programs, YFLING (6-10yrs), FLUX Creators (11-14yrs) and FLING Company (14yrs+).
