Subiaco First TaeKwonDo provides practical self-defence training to children (6 years+), adolescents, and adults. Our members train twice per week, on Tuesday and Thursday nights at Palms Community Centre (cnr Nicholson and Rokeby Road), Subiaco.

We provide a non-contact style of training, and our training focuses on both personal development and being realistically prepared for self-defence situations, with the clear recognition that avoidance (where possible) is a better option than being exposed or involved in a violent situation.

All of our assistant instructors hold Working With Children cards and have 1st Aid accreditation. Branch Instructor, Esther, is also a Mental Health 1st Aider.

Our student members include school children, university students, and business professionals who are adult also understand neurodiversity and cultural diversity amongst students and parents.

We invite prospective members to come along to a class to see/experience our training via a no-obligation introductory class. Please note that any prospective members who are under 18 years will need to be accompanied by at least one parent/official guardian; as we are unable to allow anyone under 18 years to participate unless we have confirmed parental consent in person.
