Description

First Taekwondo is a traditional non-competitve martial art and therefore reaches much further than mere Self Defence effectiveness. The discipline, mental training and varied techniques of First Tae kwon-do also provide the grounds for engendering in the practitioner a strong sense of confidence, fortitude, compassion, humility and resolve. It is this vital conditioning that separates the true practitioner from the one who has mastered only the physical aspects of the martial art.

  Instructor Darrell and the other black belts are very professional in the way they conduct each class. A family friendly class that has true traditional standards and one that provides a great workout for all fitness levels.

  Traditional martial arts for the whole family

  This art has allowed me to achieve and maintain a high level of fitness, discipline and confidence that I take with me into all aspects of my life. The instructors are passionate and dedicated, and the classes are fun, safe and family friendly - my wife and my son are students too! First Tae Kwon Do is a fantastic way to learn a traditional non-competitive form of self defence.
