evoL Sports run programs at Early Learning Centres and/or Kindergartens.

Exercise for your kids is so important, not just for their physical health, but also to enhance their academic skills.

Obesity is a significant problem in Australia, as it is in the rest of the world. For your kids, getting kids moving can teach them motor skills, build their self-confidence and teach them to work as a team. We run the following programs:


Boot Camp - A simple energy-burning program. Locomotion Skills.
Sports Program - Lots of hand-eye coordination and fun, like kicking and catching balls. Ball Skills.
Team Building - Relays and team play to build communication and leadership. Communication Skills.
Water Play - Sports using water in the warm months. Communication Skills.
A combination of all of the above

The Developmental Movement Patterns
(From earliest/simplest to latest/ most complex)

1. Breathing

We take our first breath and breathe for the rest of our lives I am here

Related Reflexes: Fear Paralysis, Morro when active these defensive reflexes can lead to worry and anxiety

Notes:
Breath holding effects the ability to move and the quality of movement
Encourage the children to breathe before and breathe out as they begin to move
Play with whole body breathing

Notice:
Does the child appear to be worried or anxious?
Does the child hold their breath?

2. Mouthing

The mouth is important before, during and after birth
Head movement is initiated through the mouth down the spine to the tailbone
Our mouth is the first part of our body to reach, grasp, hold and let go when feeding

Notes:
Adequate nutrition is needed to sustain an enhance life

Notice:
Does the child move their mouth when they make movements with their hands or feet?
Does the child have a relaxed neck and face needed for clear articulation of speech
