Thank you for the opportunity to introduce you to Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club and we hope you join us for a Come N Try or as a member.

At Christies Beach we are blessed with one of the most beautiful beaches SA has to offer, so we understand more than anybody why people just cant wait to get their feet wet.

We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive and positive experience for all of our members including :
_ Patrols which provide protection and preventative activities.
- Participation and ability in beach and water activities fitness,
- racing and competition skills
- teamwork, friendships and community values

Our Mission : Saving lives through protection and prevention

Our Vision : To provide leading lifesaving services through a lifestyle built on community engagement, education, fitness and competition
Our Strategies and focus : SLSSA = Saving Lives; Leadership and Governance; Surf Sports; Sustainable Business; Active Participation

Our Members : 5-13 year old Nippers, 14-18 year old Youth, our Seniors (18 yrs+) and Masters (30 yrs+), parents, life members and associate members. Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club welcomes people of all ages and abilities without whom, the club could not run smoothly. To support development of all ages we also facilitate Surf Babies and Little Nippers which introduces smaller children to the

Our History : Formed in 1954 from the idea of dedicated and community minded people, Christies Beach SLSC and has been very successful in all areas of surf lifesaving, community service and competition at state and national levels.

Our competition history is filled with champions who have excelled in competition on the beach in R&R, flags and running events, as well as water events like swimming, surf skis, boards and surf boats.

Our Future: We are first and foremost a Life Saving Club focusing on the safety and wellbeing of our members and our community.
