Wing Chun Kung Fu was developed by a woman in China about 300 years ago. Because it was developed by a woman, Wing Chun does not rely on the use of speed and brute force. Instead, it uses scientific techniques so that a smaller person can overcome and escape from a bigger and stronger opponent.

World renowned Grandmaster William Cheung is 8th in the direct line of Wing Chun Grandmasters from the originator, the nun Ng Mui. He introduced his childhood friend, Bruce Lee, to Wing Chun Kung Fu in Hong Kong in the 1950s, and is the Head of The Global Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Association.

Along with his sons, Masters Andrew and James who are Head Instructors at Cheung's Martial Arts Academy, Grandmaster Cheung is dedicated to spreading Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu worldwide.
