The Chadstone School of Ballet, run by Monica Edmonds, focuses on ballet quality excellence, lovely community, and low prices, continuing the philosophy and practices of Lynette Mirams (principal dancer of The Victorian Ballet), who established the Mount Waverley School of Ballet, Burton St Chadstone (St Mark's Uniting Church), in 1991. Ballet at Burton St is back, with a new name and highly qualified teachers who are past students of the Mount Waverley School of Ballet, The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and The Australian Ballet School.

Our focus is classical ballet, as ballet is the foundation of dance. We offer Classical Ballet classes and examinations, studying the Australia Institute of Classical Dance's (AICD) Borovansky Syllabus (established by Marilyn Jones OBE), for students from Play Ballet levels right through to Solo Seal Award, as well as contemporary and jazz classes.

Contemporary and jazz classes are on Monday nights, and ballet classes are on for the rest of the week.
