There are moments that in life that change the paths we take. For us, one of those moments was when we met Dennis Sykes. Dennis Sykes has taught my daughter an aspect of dance that is often overlooked, where it is not about the sparkling costumes you wear in eisteddfods or how many trophies you have on your shelf but rather its about self worth, passion, work ethic that lead to true artistry to capture the audience that is seated before you. After only 12 months of working with Dennis my daughter is a completely different dancer and performer. I believe that their training has catapulted my daughter to a whole new level and the difference is remarkable. Now when I watch my daughter dance, it brings tears to my eyes. Dennis Sykes has given my daughter invaluable lessons in drama which I believe is an important accompaniment to any dancer's career. Dennis Sykes is the most energetic and inspirational young man that I have ever met. He has an absolute passion and commitment to his craft.

My name is Anthony and I'm a 29 year old arts graduate, about to commence my final year of law at the University of Western Sydney. I have been employed as a Court Clerk with the NSW Department of Justice for Almost 4 years now. Dennis Sykes and the Actors Co. and Acting Studio has been my performance coach and also law Tutor since I commenced my law degree, and during this time I have seen my marks increase from a 4.03 to a 4.87 GPA, with my final year of law gearing up to be eligible for entry into an honours thesis. Dennis has taught me how to really get back into the basics of law and build on those fundamentals as a launch pad into continual development, as a law student, a professional and more. The confidence I have gained and knowledge I have assimilated and sustained over the years of working with Dennis has seen me grow within the NSW Department of Justice, but also being offered seasonal employment as a Manager with the NSW Electoral Commission, and appointment as panel member for the University of Western Sydney's Scholarship Selection Panel, representing both current students and Alumni. In short my success has been largely due in part to Dennis' success in which he paved and strategic guidance implemented. I highly recommend Dennis Sykes to anyone seeking a law tutor, life/careers coach, speech/presentation guide and performing arts coach who works with you holistically, as a mentor and close friend.

We made the move in 2019 to ADDCO from a studio we had been at for six years. This was a very big move for my kids. To say it was the best decision I’ve ever made is an understatement. My eldest has blossomed with the help of Miss Debra and her wonderful team of teachers. She now is on the way to a very promising career in dance. My youngest daughter was a very shy reserved little flower but is now doing solos and wanting to be the centre of everything. To see my girls so happy and confident is so rewarding and this is all due to the beautiful loving caring studio environment that Debra has created. Debra truly love each one of her students and goes out of her way to make each one of them feel special. To the point of coming to visit my daughter when she’s been in hospital. My girls are so happy and settled as am I and to be a part of this beautiful ADDCO family is a true honour. We can not thank Deb and her beautiful teachers enough for all they have done for us and continue to do for us.

An amazing studio for dancers of all abilities and ages. The atmosphere created is so welcomming and the encouragement to all the kids is fabulous. The studio Director and teachers provide the greatest of opportunities to all the kids. So blessed we found this studio.

Our daughters (Years 3 and 4) enrolled in Public Speaking and Creative Writing after-school classes, once a week, via their school. After their first class, they came home absolutely raving about it - full of excitement and dying to tell us what they had done. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm instilled in them. They have enjoyed the process itself (they love their teacher!), and the self-confidence boost that comes from learning new things, and improving themselves. As a parent, I'm really delighted with Talent Club. Administratively they've been great to deal with (quick to respond, easy to deal with), the cost of the lessons is minimal (especially compared to the opportunities that confidence and skill at writing and speaking will bring), and the process has been smooth from start to finish. Looking forward to next term!

Point Break Drama’s encouraging tuition has allowed me to explore the art of performance through a broad a range of acting techniques that I have learned from attending their acting classes over the years. The enthusiasm from both students and teachers makes performing pieces enjoyable rather than a nerve wracking experience! They cater for every skill level whether you are just starting out or have had experience you will definitely improve under their guidance. I highly recommend Point Break Drama to everyone.

Paul Winchester & his team of highly skilled tutors are supportive, encouraging & very passionate. I strongly recommend PBD to anyone looking to grow their skills as an actor in a fun, supportive & challenging environment. I have attended many courses with PBD which have all been fantastic. Highlights being Leigh Pickford's casting workshop & most recently Felix Williamson's masterclasses, which helped all of us improve our scene & character analysis hugely.

Good course

To whom it may concern, I am an international student in UNSW. I am from Beiing, China. My mentor Michael, the CEO of Zip Industries, suggested I do a course with Tracy. I have been taught by Tracy Hardwick since April, 2014. She taught me how to speak confidently in public, as well as in interviews. We modeled situation and content of job interviews when she taught me how to behave politely and confidently. Also, she kindly shared tips of how to deal with tensions in workplace with me, which is very important to a student who is about to graduate and start finding jobs like me. She showed me the correct way of breathing and reading poetry, which inspires me a lot. Now whenever I feel worried or depressed, I’ll try to breath as she taught me and calm down. Recently, we move to IELTS (International English Language Testing System). We focus on the speaking part. Although we just started, I have confidence that we will make great progress. Having recently completed the Communication and presenting skills course with Tracy, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone needing a bit of a boost with their presentation skills. My goal was to create a more imposing presence in the corporate meeting room forum. We workshopped plenty of theoretical and practical ideas from preparation and state of mind right through to audience analysis, always focussing on the goal of delivering the message in character. Across the duration, Tracy’s background in drama, acting and expression was evident and invaluable in creating both the knowledge and awareness I needed to start unlocking my potential. Her drive for results became a mantra for me in terms of embedding the lesson material in my own time. With this impetus I was able to feel satisfied that my goal had been achieved and am now using that as a solid platform for continuous improvement. Thank you Tracy for your passionate and inspirational way of coaching. I really feel confident of falling back on the fundamentals of performance and their application in the corporate arena.
