Carss Cottage is a beautiful old sandstone Cottage built by William Carss between 1863 and 1865 for his retirement. It is now a Museum displaying and preserving historical items from the late 1800's early 1900's, particularly local history and is run by Kogarah Historical Society. The Museum opens every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm, in summer months, 1pm-4pm in winter and at other times for booked tours.
