Staffed by volunteers, the Kalkari Discovery Centre has a range of educational experiences for visitors. There are displays on Australian fauna, Aboriginal heritage and a three dimensional slide show. The wheelchair-accessible Discovery trail offers stunning views of Cockle Creek and a chance to see wallabies and the local birdlife. Located in Sydney’s Neutral Bay and now a house museum surrounded by delightful gardens, May Gibbs’ Nutcote is an enchanting venue to be enjoyed by everyone, all year round.
